Last week we were fortunate enough to have been invited to the launch of The Ivy Café, the most recent offering from the ever expanding Ivy group. Located in the heart of Marylebone village, the café is in the perfect location not only for the people who live in the area, but also for the Oxford Circus and Bond Street shoppers.
The café itself is beautiful, large enough to accommodate the crowds it is sure to attract, but also cosy enough as to not feel soulless. The key to a successful café is for it to feel like someones little secret, a secret that you want to share with your friends, and The Ivy Café have tapped into that perfectly. It is comfortable and brilliantly decorated, a great mix of British and French design.
The standard of food at The Ivy is incredibly high, and we are pleased to confirm that they have maintained this standard at their new Café. The breakfast menu was ridiculously good, you guys have seen how much we love avocado on toast, and the Ivy Café version is undoubtably one of the best we have ever tasted. Eggs Benedict, Mimosas, cappuccinos (with Almond milk, so tasty!) pastries, green juices to make us feel better about the mimosas and pastries, charming, attentive waiters and waitresses all combine to made for a really special breakfast experience. We can't wait to go back and try the lunch!
